I am so so so so so excited to announce a seasonal series that will be starting on Life Tastes Like Food tomorrow.

Sometimes, my life is boring. Other people are much more interesting than I am. So I was trying to think of a way to showcase to you all of the wonderful happenings that are going on in people’s lives. And since it’s the holiday season, I see no better way to celebrate it than to share a little something among friends, strangers, readers, bloggers, family, co-workers, peers, and…everyone, really.

This project is called The Holiday Project. Each week throughout this holiday season, I will be posting two guest posts on my blog. One will be from a reader (who doesn’t have a blog) and one will be from a blogger! You will see the holiday banner (pictured at the top of this post) at the beginning of every post in the series.

Why did I decide to do this project?

I get sent pictures or told about amazing dishes that readers create…and it simply puts the brightest smile on my face. Well you know what, readers? It’s time to share your talents.

And all you bloggers…ohhh, you bloggers. It’s a pleasure to have these talented bloggers visit the blog and take a minute to say hello and share what they’ve been up to. Do you thang, bloggers!

Overall, this project is suppose to be fun and light hearted. It’ll open the doors to what’s going on in our foodie community, both offline and online. I have asked everyone share a recipe or a story about themselves and what they enjoy. It doesn’t have to be holiday related…it just has to be something they want to share! Call it a virtual potluck for the eyes and mind, if you will.

I just want the opportunity to show that everyone is truly a rock star.

Whether you and/or your blog is participating or not, everyone is a rock star. Please feel free to comment on any posts that you feel connected to–this is a space for everyone to share!!

Warm wishes to everyone and this holiday season. I hope you’ll stop by every week to check out these lovely guest posts!

[I have added a tab to the navigation bar so you can keep track of posts and recipes as they come up. At the end of the series, I will do an archived post of everyone that participated.] So excited! Posts begin tomorrow!

Let the festivities begin!
