Pumpkin Snickerdoodles and a Fall Giveaway!

  Have I mentioned how much I love Fall? And my¬†affinity¬†for pumpkin-flavored things? Oh, I haveee? Well, here’s one more for the list: pumpkin snickerdoodles! The subtle pumpkin flavor adds a nice spin to your everyday snickerdoodle, and the cookie comes out so soft and chewy! It’s a great dessert to bring to a potluck, party or just to have around the house on a Sunday afternoon. Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Recipe (only slightly adapted from Sweet Pea’s Kitchen) 2 3/4 Cups all-purpose flour 2 Teaspoons cream of tartar 1 Teaspoon baking soda 1/2 Teaspoon salt 1/2 Teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 1 1/2 Cups sugar plus another 1/4 cup 2 Sticks unsalted butter, softened 1 Large egg 3/4 Cup pumpkin puree 2 Tablespoons ground cinnamon Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
